Dallas Exec to Head OMD’s Local Broadcast

DALLAS—OMD USA last week promoted Cindy Clements to director of local broadcast, overseeing the placement of more than $1.2 billion in local radio and television on behalf of its clients. Clements will be based outside the Omnicom agency’s New York headquarters in Dallas, where Optimium and TBWA\Chiat\Day recently merged their media buying operations. She was previously director of local broadcast for TBWA, working with clients that included Apple, Bell Atlantic, Earthlink, Nissan, Sony and Kmart.
