DALLAS--Haggar Clothing Co. here has shifted creative assignments on its $10 million account from GSD&M in Austin, Texas, to Seattle-based advertising and design company Foundation, a former project shop for the client. The clothing firm said it plans to decide soon on the allocation of its media planning and buying assignments, also formerly with GSD&M. Haggar makes men's casual and dress apparel and women's sportswear. GSD&M representative Eric Webber said the clothier wanted to consolidate its agency roster to coincide with plans to drop television advertising and concentrate on point-of-sale and design marketing avenues. "Foundation is a more logical choice than we are" for those plans, said Webber. He declined comment on whether GSD&M is still in line for the company's media chores.
