GGT Chief Hears Grievances at Wells
NEW YORK–Michael Greenlees, chief executive of Wells BDDP parent GGT Group, visited the New York shop last week to meet “managing partners who were upset” over the recent departure of agency president Paula Forman. The unscheduled meetings were held to placate more than a dozen Wells staffers, including key members of the Procter & Gamble account team. Greenlees, who characterized the mood of the meetings as “cooperative,” denied speculation that certain Wells staffers threatened to quit or demanded either the ousting of Wells chief executive Frank Assumma or the reinstatement of Forman.
