O&M Drops Out of Pearle Review





CHICAGO–Ogilvy & Mather here withdrew from Dallas-based Pearle Vision Centers’ $25 million review late last week. According to sources, O&M client Sears Roebuck and Co. voiced concerns, even though new Pearle parent Cole National operates Sears’ in-store optical departments. Remaining finalists are W. B. Doner & Co., Southfield, Mich.; Publicis/Bloom, New York; and McCann-Erickson, New York. Incumbent GSD&M, Austin, Texas, is not participating.
