JWT GIVES UP PAGENET ACCOUNT
CHICAGO-J. Walter Thompson here resigned the account of Dallas-based PageNet after a year, saying the company had not expanded its paging service nationally as expected. The account was valued at $10-15 million when JWT won the business; spending was only $1.5 million through August of this year, according to Competitive Media Reporting. PageNet executives could not be reached for comment.
FCB LIKELY TO ADD BOOST ASSIGNMENT
CHICAGO-Bristol-Myers Squibb is expected to assign Foote, Cone & Belding here the Boost brand from its Mead Johnson division and possibly other products after pulling nearly $100 million in billings from Wells BDDP, New York.
