Fort Franklin has added to its Bulmers America business, picking up chores for the client’s soon-to-debut Sidekick brand of prepackaged wine-based shots.

Sidekick, which will retail at $4.99 in a package designed to resemble shot glasses, will be available in four flavors this fall: lime, raspberry, orange and sour apple. Alcohol content is 20 percent.

“It’s an innovative [product] and so simple,” said Marc Gallucci, founder and creative director of the Boston agency. “It can be distributed in [establishments] that have no hard-liquor licenses” because it is wine-based.

Fort Franklin will market the product to 21-28-year-olds.

Sidekick will initially be introduced in test markets, beginning with Florida.
