DALLAS Zehnder Communications and Stone Ward were the big winners of their respective Addy competitions.
At the Addy Awards ceremony of the Advertising Club of New Orleans, Zehnder Communications earned 21 golds, 13 silvers and a special judges award for audio and video effects. The New Orleans agency also picked up the print advertising best of show for its work on behalf the Nature Conservancy of Louisiana.
Other shops winning big at the Saturday show included Peter A. Mayer Advertising, which received 19 golds and 15 silvers, and Keating Magee Advertising, which won six golds and 18 silvers. Trumpet Advertising took home 7 golds and three silvers, in addition to winning television advertising best of show for a Tenet Healthcare spot. This is the sixth year Trumpet has won a gold in that category.
At the Arkansas Advertising Federation's awards presentation on Saturday night in Little Rock, local shop Stone Ward captured 50 golds, 76 silvers, 34 bronzes and the special judges award. The agency claimed AAF's best of show award for its television campaign for the Arkansas Association of Area Agencies on Aging. The public service spots promote Arkansas Caregivers, a project of the client.
Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods also won a number of Addys. The Little Rock shop earned 17 golds, 54 silvers and nine bronzes.
