CHICAGO Advocate Health Care positions itself as an organization that understands patients' concerns and has the latest in technology in the first broadcast advertising campaign from Hoffman York.
Two 30-second television spots began running this month on broadcast stations in and around Chicago, an agency representative said. The campaign for the Oak Brook, Ill.-based hospital network carries the tagline, "We're your doctors. We're your hospitals. We're your Advocate."
In one commercial, a woman is apprehensive about her husband's pending heart surgery and the post-operative care, but the fact he is being treated at Advocate eases her mind. Onscreen text explains that Advocate's latest technology can help shoulder the burden. "A heart needs an Advocate," flashes one sentence.
The other spot features a gentle nudge to post-menopausal women to take care of their health, not just that of their children and husbands.
The campaign is the first broadcast work from the Chicago agency since winning the $3 million account in July 2002, following a review involving a dozen shops.
