SAN FRANCISCO–Kieran Hannon, president of Grey Worldwide’s San Francisco office, has resigned his position, sources said Thursday.

Sources, who declined to elaborate, said Hannon, 39, was leaving to take care of family matters. He has been with Grey Worldwide for two years, first as executive vice president.

Hannon was credited with substantially boosting the office’s new business record. During his stint at Grey, the agency picked up the $40 million Ask Jeeves account, the $35 million Northpoint Communications account and the $50 million Egghead account.
