The Interactive Advertising Bureau is seeking feedback on guidelines it issued last week on over-the-page rich-media ad units. The specifications are designed to improve the efficiency of planning, buying and creating online media, as well as enhance the user experience. One of the guidelines states that audio must be user- initiated, except for ads that run in a context where the user has already accepted sound.
