DALLAS – Omnicom Group’s GSD&M has resigned 7-Eleven, just eight months after winning the Dallas-based convenience chain’s creative account. The advertiser is now in final negotiations with an undisclosed agency to take over estimated $30 million business, a client representative confirmed.

Austin, Texas-based GSD&M won 7-Eleven in a review that included finalists Deutsch and Wieden & Kennedy, both New York.

Client spokesperson Dana Manley said a conflict has arisen with another GSD&M client involved in “coffee business.”
