Mitsubishi Motors North America president and COO Greg O’Neill last week said he will resign, effective at year’s end. The departure of O’Neill, a supporter of Mitsubishi shop Deutsch/ LA, will “have no effect right now” on the car maker’s relationship with the IPG shop, a client rep said. The company named Ian Beavis svp of marketing two weeks ago. Former Hyundai CEO Finbarr O’Neill joined Mitsubishi as co-chairman and CEO in October.
