CHICAGO Grant Jacoby here is shutting down according to Fred Smith, who last fall took a stake in the agency in an effort to start a holding company called the Tungsten Group.
The agency has dwindled in size and done little new business in recent years. A final client list could not be determined.
The agency in October picked up creative work for Blimpie International’s $12 million business. Mark Mears, chief marketing officer of the Atlanta-based chain, could not immediately be reached, nor could Grant Jacoby executive creative director Andy Madorsky.
