Amount Toyota paid to rent Chicago’s Millennium Park for a private party last Thursday. General Motors executives decided to have a little fun at its competitor’s expense, driving around the edges of the park and offering tourists free rides and passes to attractions around the city that were open to the public. “They’re the competition,” GM executive Joel Sassa told the Chicago Sun-Times. “Were we having a little fun with it? Yeah, sure.” The fleet of 45 GM cars went missing mid-afternoon, however.
