Formalwear retailer Gingiss International has asked three Midwest agencies to present agency capabilities as part of a “management evaluation process,” a company executive said.

The presentations are an “exercise” in reassessing the Addison, Ill., formalwear chain’s management in all areas of the company, said Michelle Oldani, Gingiss’ director of marketing.

Gingiss plans to continue to use The Rosen Group, Oldani said, and signed a new contract with the Chicago shop in the past month.

“Our relationship continues to evolve, and we have been very happy with their work,” Oldani said.

The request for capabilities presentations was a mandate from upper management, which wanted to evaluate all relationships following the company’s acquisition of California-based Gary’s Tux Shop last year, Oldani said.
