The Gap has installed Kristin Petersen in the newly created position of vice president, brand exposure and promotions. In her new job, Petersen will be responsible for the development of marketing campaigns for the Gap, as well as sibling brands Banana Republic and Old Navy. In addition to traditional media, she will focus on integrated content, charitable tie-ins, partnerships and product placement. Prior to joining the Gap in San Francisco, Petersen developed film and video marketing campaigns as senior vice president of national promotions at Universal.
