Could ad agencies pass up a chance for free advertising–for themselves? Apparently so.
In recent weeks, M.J. Boyer of M.J. Boyer Public Relations & Advertising in New York contacted more than 30 agencies in town by fax and phone.
The reason? Boyer’s client, a Rockefeller Center-area restaurant called The Bombay Palace (shown here), wants to start a biweekly “screening” program this January in which participating shops get to show customers their reels on a pair of 100-square-foot screens in two dining rooms.
