NEW YORK A former graphics salesman admitted in U.S. District Court Monday to helping rig bids and to dispensing nearly $1 million in payments to unnamed ad agencies in exchange for steering contracts to a company he worked with.
John Ghianni, a former independent sales executive for Quality House of Graphics, a Queens, NY-based graphics services company, pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud and anti-trust violations. The charges stem from an ongoing investigation of the print and advertising industries by the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division and comes a week after the guilty plea of Mitch Mosallem, who headed the print production department at Grey Worldwide.
