Fallon Adds Earl Jean, Sigrid Olsen

CHICAGO Fallon has added two new fashion clients—Lee Jeans' Earl Jean brand and Liz Claiborne's Sigrid Olsen—to its roster, according to the shop. Both assignments came without reviews.

The Minneapolis-based shop will help establish an overall marketing strategy for Sigrid Olsen and promote the brand's recently launched retail stores. About 50 outlets are expected to be open nationwide by the end of the year.

"This is a very exciting time to be working with Sigrid Olsen," said Fallon Minneapolis president Rob White, in a statement. "Sigrid has created a brand of beautifully designed apparel, has a strong retail vision and is poised to take the brand to the next level."

Olsen launched her women's sportswear line 20 years ago. Products for the home are expected to debut later this year.

The Publicis Groupe shop added Earl Jean based on its work for sibling brand Lee Jeans; both are owned by VF Corp. Fallon's work, which will include traditional and non-traditional marketing efforts in the U.S., Europe and Asia, is expected to break in the fall.

"Our job one is to help them focus on the essence of their story, then employ every means possible to help them grow," said Chris Lawrence, group account director at Fallon, in a statement.

Billings for the respective assignments were not disclosed.
