Jeff Jones, former CEO of Leo Burnett unit LB Works, will become evp of marketing for the Gap brand starting April 1, Gap Inc. said last week. Jones, 36, is the second executive from Publicis’ Burnett to join the San Francisco retailer in the past year. Group account director Susan Wayne took a marketing post for the Old Navy brand last June. Jones will report to Gap president Gary Muto. Gap’s lead agency is Laird & Partners in New York.
