Lowe & Partners/SMS has hired Vince Engel to be the 2-year-old San Francisco office’s first executive vice president and creative director. Engel begins his new job in December.
“[Lowe] wants to make the San Francisco office a really hot creative place,” said Engel, who will oversee creative work on such accounts as Sun Microsystems, Oral-B and Eddie Bauer. The office’s total billings are estimated at $125 million.
