Edelman Names Tucker Deputy GM

ATLANTA Patty Tucker has been promoted to deputy general manager of Edelman here, the public relations firm said.

Tucker, 42, will report to Claudia Patton, the Atlanta office’s general manager. Tucker will retain her responsibilities of managing the agency’s corporate affairs practice while assuming the additional duties of expanding Edelman’s presence in the Southeast. She also leads the team that helps manage the international image of UPS.

Tucker and Patton have worked together since 1981. She was the third person Patton hired after she opened The Headline Group public relations firm in Atlanta.
