BOSTON Duffy & Shanley has leveraged its relationship with Cosco sister company Dorel Juvenile Group to add a six-figure assignment from Cosco's home and consumer products division, the agency said.
Previously, the work had been handled in-house.
The independent agency in Providence, R.I., picks up public relations chores and will help the client set strategies to guide its 2006 print-based ad campaigns.
The effort supports Cosco's ladders, step stools, furniture and home healthcare products and will break in the next few months.
"Cosco Home & Office is a great opportunity for us because it spans a range of consumer product categories," said Jon Duffy, president of Duffy & Shanley. "Building on our already extensive media relationships in these areas is important to delivering the results clients know they can expect of us."
The Montreal-based client, a manufacturer of home and office products for over 70 years, is entering the home healthcare market with its Cosco and new Adepta lines of products for home safety, convenience and mobility.
Duffy counts Boston University, CVS, Salem Five Bank, ConnectEdu, Nike Golf, Swarovski and Bluestreak among its other clients.
