NEW YORK Interpublic Group's DraftFCB said Scott Johnson has joined the agency as its interactive executive creative director; he also becomes a senior vice president.
Johnson comes to DraftFCB from Tribal DDB, where he was ecd in the agency's Dallas office. He spent three years at the Omnicom Group Web agency, working on the Pepsi, Chili's and American Airlines accounts.
At DraftFCB, Johnson, 43, reports to chief creative officer Tom O'Keefe. He has relocated to work at DraftFCB's Chicago headquarters.
"Scott is one of the most highly regarded creative talents in the entire interactive space," O'Keefe said in a statement. "We're thrilled to have him here to help grow our creative product and reputation."
Prior to joining Tribal DDB, Johnson worked in a variety of roles at agencies Bozell Kamstra, Meyer & Johnson and RJCH.
Tribal DDB has not hired a replacement for Johnson, according to an agency representative.
Tribal DDB recently altered its management structure to create regional heads on the East and West Coasts.
The realignment put Paul Gunning, general manager of its Chicago office, in charge of Tribal DDB East, which comprises Atlanta, Chicago and New York. Elizabeth Ross, general manager of Tribal DDB San Francisco, has added responsibilities for Dallas and Los Angeles as head of Tribal DDB West. The agency network is hiring replacements for Gunning and Ross in their general manager roles.
