NEW YORK DraftFCB today said Michael Brzozowski would join the agency in the newly created position of executive vice president and director of CRM.
Brzozowski, 44, will develop CRM methodologies and best practices for DraftFCB's current clients and oversee new business efforts in this area. Brzozowski reports to Wendy Lurrie, general manager of DraftFCB here, on New York business and client matters, and to DraftFCB's chief digital, direct and CRM officer Pam Larrick on the development of methodology and best practices across the agency network. His appointment is effective immediately.
"Mike is a true leader in this increasingly important field," said Lurrie, in a statement "As we finalize the integration of DraftFCB, we are dedicated to developing best practices in all areas that will help us deliver creative, holistic business solutions."
Brzozowski said, "With the explosion of new technologies and a heightened emphasis on marketing accountability, CRM will help us deliver on the promise of individualized, dialog-driven brand experiences."
He had been a senior partner and executive director of relationship marketing strategy at OgilvyOne, a post he held at the WPP Group shop since 2001.
Brzozwski is the second OgilvyOne executive to join DraftFCB in a senior position in recent weeks, following Peter DeNunzio's arrival as president of the New York office [Adweek Online, Aug. 30].
DraftFCB resulted from this year's merger of IPG's Draft and Foote Cone & Belding. The agency network spans 110 countries, with more than 9,000 employees. Top clients include Kraft Foods, Motorola and S.C. Johnson.
