CHICAGO Morgan Stanley has asked roster shop Leo Burnett to present ideas for its Discover credit card, according to sources.

Creative duties on Discover, based in Riverwoods, Ill., are currently handled by Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, which is also offering new ideas, sources said. It is unclear whether the pitch could result in a shift of the entire $90 million Discover account. (Publicis’ Starcom handles media chores.)

Publicis Groupe-owned Burnett in Chicago works on advertising for Morgan Stanley, which spent about $40 million to advertise its brand last year, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
