BOSTON Digitas said it has hired Gregory Green for the newly created post of global director of analytics. Green will oversee the development of analytic capabilities across all Digitas offices.
Green, 40, reports to executive vice president John Marshall, who leads the strategy and analysis practice at the independent Boston-based marketing agency.
Prior to joining Digitas, Green was an evp and chief strategy officer of The Allant Group, a marketing services company in Naperville, Ill. He has also served as a principal consultant with Price Waterhouse.
Green was hired because of a depth of experience in both strategic and practical application of advanced tools and techniques that drive clients' relationship marketing programs and optimize the value of their spend, according to Marshall.
Digitas handles a mix of interactive and direct chores for clients such as Americal Express, America Online, AT&T, Delta Air Lines and General Motors.
