CHICAGO-Denny's restaurants has selected finalists in reviews for general market, African American and Hispanic agencies, according to the consultant overseeing the process.
The Spartanburg, S.C.-based division of Advantica Restaurant Group began a search in March to trim the roster of agencies that had a piece of its $50 million account. Assisting with the review is The Rojek Cutcher Group in Cleveland.
General market finalists are Bernstein-Rein, Kansas City, Mo.; Doner in Southfield, Mich.; Mullen in Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Publicis in Mid America, Dallas.
Denny's general market incumbent is WestWayne in Tampa, Fla.
African American finalists are GlobalHue, Southfield, Mich., and E. Morris Communications, Chicago.
Hispanic finalists are GlobalHue's San Antonio office; Lopez Negrete in Houston; and cruz/kraveta: Ideas, Culver City, Calif.
Denny's previously worked with African American shop Chisholm-Mingo Group in New York and Publicis Sanchez Levitan, Miami.
Decisions are expected by the end of July.
