Mistaking the ad for a scene from ER is understandable. D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Los Angeles, turned to Lesli Linka Glatter, who has directed several episodes of the popular NBC drama, to shoot two direct response ads aimed at getting the uninsured to buy Blue Cross coverage.
