Cronin & Co. Engages Mintz PR Vet

BOSTON Cronin & Co. said it has hired Tom Bradley as vice president and executive director of public relations, a new position at the independent agency.

Bradley, 48, will oversee PR operations, provide strategic counsel to agency clients and spearhead departmental business development and agency promotion. AnnMarie Kemp, a 12-year Cronin veteran, will continue to serve as vice president, director of PR, reporting to Bradley.

Prior to joining Cronin, Bradley served for six years as vice president, director of public relations at Mintz & Hoke in Avon, Conn.

"Tom has a tremendous track record in every phase of public relations," said Mike Wheeler, vice chairman and principal of the Glastonbury, Conn.-based independent. "We like the ability he has to see how all available communications tools can fit together for greater results. He's a great PR pro, but he's also a great communications pro."

Bradley is a strong advocate of the integration of public relations with Internet-based tools and techniques. "As we move forward, we will be working with all our clients to identify opportunities where their online marketing efforts and their PR efforts can be married for greater effectiveness," Bradley said.

At Cronin, Bradley leads a six-person department that works for clients including McDonald's, the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection and Middlesex Hospital.
