U.S. stocks closed mixed Friday, as Wall Street finished the week higher after oil prices retreated from record highs. The Dow Jones industrial average gained 23 points, ending at 10,027. The Nasdaq was flat at 1,975. The week started out well for Madison Avenue. Industry stocks got a bounce on Tuesday after Omnicom and WPP reported strong third-quarter results, thanks to the Olympic Games and the election. In trading that day, Omnicom’s stock price rose more than 9 percent, to $79.44,
