Arkansas shops Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods and Blackwood Martin & Associates completed their merger following a vote by the members of CJRW’s employee stock ownership plan.
Tom Steves, executive vice president, chief operating officer of CJRW in Little Rock, Ark., said the merger took effect March 31 after a unanimous vote of CJRW stockholders.
The combined agencies claim 1997 billings of $73 million and 138 employees. Blackwood Martin is located in Fayetteville, Ark.
“We hope this merger will make us a bigger player,” Steves said.
