Core in St. Louis has resigned its Winchester ammunition account from Olin Corp., but it is not clear if the company intends to seek a replacement agency.
Core quit the business following the departure of Harlan Kent, the Winchester division’s vice president of marketing. Kent had hired the agency in 1995.
Stamford, Conn.-based Olin Corp. markets bullets, shotgun shells and reloading equipment under the Winchester brand from facilities in East Alton, Ill. Winchester firearms are manufactured under license by other companies.
