Seattle-based Cole & Weber has hired Michael Doherty as senior vice president/managing director of its Portland, Ore., office.
Doherty most recently served as president in charge of consumer advertising at KVO Advertising in Portland. KVO management recently decided to leave the traditional advertising business to focus on integrated public relations and interactive marketing.
Doherty brings to Cole & Weber the ad accounts of NW Natural, Tillamook County Creamery Association, McKenzie-Willamette Hospital and Town & Country Auto Dealerships, as well as two account supervisors, Greg Harris and Suzanne Baird.
