boston—Tank Design has added assignments from footwear retailer Cole Haan and Tivoli, a software provider owned by IBM.

Scott Watts, partner at Cambridge, Mass.-based Tank, said that picking up the clients “reaffirms for us that dedicating yourself to hands-on design is paying off despite what is going on in the economy.”

Combined spending for the two projects is in the six-figure range, Watts said.

For Yarmouth, Maine-based Cole Haan, Tank will produce biannual product catalogs this year.

For Austin, Texas-based Tivoli, Tank is charged with crafting de sign elements ranging from collateral to T-shirts for Planet Tivoli, a trade show that will take place in June.
