NEW YORK Andrew Keller, vp, ecd at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, has been named chairman of the Contact and Content jury for the 48th International Clio Awards.
That jury, established four years ago, looks at nontraditional advertising in areas such as gaming, mobile marketing, branded entertainment and blogs.
"This jury of leading media strategists and creatives will award the work that continues to set the bar, highlighting the convergence of creative and media and recognizing the original pioneering way it's pushing the industry forward," said Tony Gulisano, managing director of the Clio Awards.
The other members of the Contact and Content jury are: Mark D'Arcy, CCO, Global Media Group, Time Warner; Jon Kamen, CEO, @radical.media; Johnny Vulkan, partner, Anomaly; and Damien Eley, cd, Mother.
In addition, Peet Pinaar, cd at Daddy Buy Me a Pony in Capetown, South Africa, was named chairman of the Design jury.
"Design is one of the most challenging Clio categories because the winning work must find ways to effectively convey a brand concept across a variety of media platforms," said Gulisano.
Also on the Design jury are: Bobby C. Martin, Jr., design director, Jazz at Lincoln Center; Ji Lee, art director, Droga5; Emma Presler, senior designer, New ESPN Media Group; and David Israel, ecd, Desgrippes Gobé.
The Clios are owned by Adweek parent the Nielsen Co.
Earlier this month, the awards organization said Gulisano would oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the program. He assumes the duties of Ami Brophy, departing executive director, though his title does not change.
Recognition Media has been hired to produce the Clios. Those duties were previously handled in-house.
The event will be held May 9-12 in Miami Beach, Fla.
