Polaris Industries has narrowed its search to two finalists for its $5 million personal watercraft and snowmobile advertising account, sources said.
Officials from the Plymouth, Minn.-based company last week paid visits to Clarity Coverdale Fury and Martin/Williams, both Minneapolis, sources said. A final decision is expected this week.
Agency officials declined comment. Company officials could not be reached for comment.
Eliminated from the review were incumbent Carmichael Lynch, Colle & McVoy, Kerker Marketing and Peterson Milla Hooks, all in Minneapolis.
Polaris spent about $3 million on advertising during the first half of 1998, according to Competitive Media Reporting. --Aaron Baar
