CIBA Vision has named Kilgannon McReynolds lead agency for its surgical business unit.

The Atlanta-based client makes contact lenses and related products.

Agency principal Rena Kilgannon attributes the appointment to her agency’s experience with business-to-business and technology clients, as well as the Atlanta shop’s affiliation with London-based BBN, The Multicultural Agency.

“When CIBA Vision’s head of marketing was given global responsibilities, we presented them with a campaign that would give them global reach,” said Kilgannon.

The shop’s first work is a series of print ads for TearSaver Plus, which relieves dry-eye syndrome.

Ads will appear in EyeWorld, Ocular Surgery News and Ophthalmology Times.
