BOSTON Racepoint Group said it has been chosen for communications services by ChoiceStream, a provider of personalization software for global entertainment, e-retail, TV and mobile brands.
The assignment for the agency in Waltham, Mass., includes strategic counsel, business media relations, digital media relations, thought leadership programs, vertical marketing, speakers' bureaus and related services.
"We selected Racepoint for their excellence in strategic thinking and expertise in business and digital media relations," said Lori Loureiro, client senior director of marketing and corporate communications.
The client, headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., is an important addition for Racepoint because it represents the chance to work with a company pioneering technology in an emerging market, said shop CEO Marijean Lauzier.
The company's products allow AOL, Blockbuster, DirectTV, Yahoo! and others deliver personalized video and audio content to consumers via traditional TV or mobile devices.
Racepoint's clients include recent addition DigitalGlobe, which tapped the agency's San Francisco office in November. Racepoint also has an outpost in London, and employs more than 60 staffers at its three locations.
