Cartel Creativo in San Antonio defeated a field of undisclosed agencies to land advertising duties for Pueblo Financial Corp., a company formed to serve the U.S. Hispanic market.
The agency said the win will boost its billings by $5 million or more to $20 million-plus overall. The Pueblo business, combined with the agency’s new Labatt’s USA work, helped double Cartel Creativo’s size in six months.
In a statement, Pueblo chief executive officer Ennio Quevedo-Garcia said: “Our long-term goal is to be known as the company that truly understands the financial services needs of the Hispanic consumer.
