CHICAGO Publicis Groupe properties Frankel and Capps Digital are teaming up in a deal that allows the latter to set up a full-service pre-media studio inside of the former.
Referred to as Capps at Frankel, the partnership will allow Capps to develop print advertising pre-media, including graphic design, photography, illustration, color-correction and retouching for Frankel and its clients. Though Capps, a subsidiary of Leo Burnett, will handle the majority of Frankel's pre-media, it will not be Frankel's only provider of those services, according to a Capps representative.
"This decision was a matter of 'when,' not 'if,'" said Frankel president and CEO Dick Thomas in a statement. "Having been made more familiar with Capps over the past year, we were thoroughly impressed with its ability to make our product work even stronger."
Frankel is a Chicago-based sales promotion, database and direct-marketing agency, whose clients include McDonald's, General Motors, Kellogg, AT&T Wireless and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
