Dick Briner died of lung cancer last week, leaving behind a family and friends in the ad communities of Atlanta and Louisville, Ky.
Briner, creative director at Donino, White & Partners, was diagnosed last fall, just months after returning here following a stint at Creative Alliance in Louisville.
He had already done the full career turn– Bozell, Grey Advertising, McCann-Erickson–and won a fair share of awards along the way. Briner, 52, loved books, tennis, his rainbow collection of Converse sneakers, telling the truth.
