BrannForbes last week took the reins of the $60 million account of Rent-A-Center, the nation’s largest rent-to-own chain.
The Dallas agency claimed the account from crosstown shop Levenson & Hill, along with key staffers to continue managing the business.
An informal review was held. Said client vice president of advertising Ann Davis, “We did some general looking around for someone who felt the same way we did in terms of a grass-roots approach.”
“We have a lot of proprietary tools to track and measure advertising–that’s really what attracted Rent-A-Center to us initially,” said Dave Kirwan, chief executive officer of BrannForbes.
The 70-person agency was known as The Forbes Group prior to its acquisition last spring by Brann-Worldwide, a Snyder Communications company.
