Jon Boroshok has formed TechMarcom, a "virtual agency" catering to Internet startups that can't afford the fees charged by full-service shops.
Working out of his home in Groton, Mass., Boroshok has no staff, but he has formed a network of 10 senior creative professionals that he can call upon as needed.
Boroshok has more than a dozen years of experience, most recently as senior marketing communications manager at Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products USA in Burlington, Mass. He is currently working for startups such as SoftLock.com and DiscJockey.com on Web executions, strategic consulting and collateral.
"I think it's an excellent idea," said Peter Greer, senior vice president at Mullen in Wenham, Mass., who had worked with Boroshok on projects for various clients. --Lauren Wile
