Fogarty Klein Monroe has been assigned the advertising account of BMC Software.

A global provider of business management software whose annual revenue exceeds $1 billion, BMC chose the Houston shop after working with it on several projects.

Most of the client’s advertising had previously been handled in-house, said Fogarty senior vice president and director of new business Melanie Ford.

DavisElen Advertising of Los Angeles helped produce what the client refers to in its financial statements as a “major rebranding effort” last year.

As lead agency, Fogarty will now handle creative services including advertising and direct mail in the U.S.,
