ATLANTA–Tom Birk has joined Crispin Porter & Bogusky as director of account planning, replacing the agency’s award-winning Jennifer Urich, who left earlier this year to pursue a freelance career.
Birk joins the Miami agency from Arnold Communications here, where he had worked for three years following that shop’s acquisition of crosstown rival Houston Herstek Favat, where he had been a partner.
A senior-level account planner at Arnold, Birk helped the shop land several high-profile accounts, including the American Legacy Foundation’s national anti-smoking assignment, which Arnold shares with Crispin Porter.
