If Greg Edwards and Leslie Stedman get their wish, their boss, agency chairman Bill Cronin, will soon be either parking cars or answering phones at Cronin & Co.
Senior copywriter Edwards and account supervisor Stedman shelled out $80 for an hour of Cronin’s time at the Advertising Club of Connecticut’s recent annual meeting.
Also donating their services were Mintz & Hoke chairman Joe Hoke, Decker chief executive officer Craig Cheyne and O’Neal & Prelle president Mike Kintner, who was bought by an employee for $125.
A sailing trip for two and a gift basket autographed by Paul Newman were some of the other items up for bid.
