Title That Was Reuben
Agency Earle Palmer Brown
Creative director Terry Taylor
Senior copywriter Tom Darbyshire
Earle Palmer Brown does it again for Roy Rogers with a 30-second spot that introduces the chain’s Reuben sandwich and tickles viewers’ funny bones at the same time. The spot continues a tradition of humorous Roy’s/EPB work that gained national notoriety a while back when a union of high school cafeteria workers complained that a Roy’s ad was derogatory. In the new spot, two women are watching a commercial within a commercial for Roy’s Reuben.
