SAN FRANCISCO Beringer Blass Wine Estates is interviewing agencies about its creative and media account, client officials said.

The St. Helena, Calif., vineyard had worked with Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in San Francisco for the past seven years until it ceased to be a full-service firm, said Allison Simpson, a client representative.

Ad spending on the account ranges between $7 million and $15 million, according to the client, including print. Television advertising is being considered.

The search is in the early stages and the winery has just begun to contact agencies.
