SAN FRANCISCO Publicis Groupe’s Publicis & Hal Riney has won the Beringer Blass Wine Estates creative and media account, agency officials said Thursday.

Annual ad spending ranges between $7 million and $15 million, according to the client.

The St. Helena, Calif., vineyard had worked with Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in San Francisco for the past seven years until it ceased to be a full-service shop, said Allison Simpson, a client representative.

The client’s search for a new agency began in March and involved more than 30 shops.
